Brian Maggi, Principal

Brian has over 15 years of experience delivering innovative and useful commercial applications, software, and Web sites going all the way back to his days as a research assistant for NCSA. He began his career at Apple Computer as a user experience engineer on the original Newton team and later as the Technology Manager for the entire desktop line including the iMac and G4.

He has worked with a variety of companies such as Procter & Gamble, GTech, Consumer Guide, RR Donnelley, and EMusic.

He is also one of the original founders and inventors of Postini (acquired by Google), the leading enterprise email security solution, for which he was awarded several patents.

Brian holds a BA in Communication and a Minor in Fine Arts from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is also the Chairman of Chi2, the Chicago chapter of the nation’s largest HCI professional organization.
