Encompass, a subsidiary of Allstate Insurance came to Idea Momentum to deliver the visual design of their independent agent dashboard. The agent dashboard project was a complete re-design of their existing terminal-based legacy system.
The previous version of the application required more support staff per office and specialized training. The new version reduced training and enabled a broader range of users to accomplish more tasks. Since independent agents have multiple choices for recommending insurance companies, Encompass needed more than functionality to differentiate themselves. They also needed a visual design commensurate with the dramatic improvements in capabilities and services.
Working with a development teams in different time zones meant having to do many things asynchronously. Having a deep understanding of the underlying technology enabled us to deliver all of the visual assets in a way that significantly reduced development time.
